Tim Cole does an excellent job with his new book. He develops the characters to a point that you feel like you have known them in the past. I started this book and went through it in a very short time because I really wanted to find out what was about to happen next.The suspense and mystery keeps you guessing right up to the last chapter and then you realize that you did not even see it coming.
I would recommend this book without hesitation. You will feel like you have been transported right back to a small southern town in North Carolina where a lot of unusual happenings have taken place over the years.
Looking forward to Tim's next novel.

Recollection is the perfect book a vivid sense of place, rural North Carolina; interesting and authentic characters you grow to care about; and a plot that will keep you turning pages long after you should be asleep. Highly recommended!
When I read that this is Tim Cole's first novel, I was enthralled and amazed. It is the best mystery novel I have ever read. Once I started, I could not put it down until I was finished. How thrilling it is to suppose that there will be more books written by this author (with the hope) as good as this one. A MUST if you enjoy reading mysteries. I LOVED IT!

What a book! "Recollection" kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and the front cover of the book brought me into this novel and even after I finished I still I keep looking at the front cover feeling I was there. The description and detail of everything was simply outstanding. I really hope this book turns into a movie and I am just imagining which movie stars will be playing Jeb and Shauna!!

Recollection is a captivating novel. I commonly purchase fictional works to pass time during business trips and have become so familiar with reliably fascinating authors such as David Baldacci, Phillip Margolin, Robin Cook and Dean Koontz. I think we can now add Tim Cole to the list! More often than not, these authors not only unleash a fascinating story, but will also cost me more than just a little sleep. When there is the perfect balance between action, detail and suspense, you just have to keep turning for "one more page." Tim Cole has captured this magical balance in Recollection. Read the first two or three chapters and you will be hooked.
Could not put this down. Each character more interesting the the last until a surprise ending that left me wanting more from this author.
Mr. Cole you have touched the hearts of us "Stacey" residents (and anyone else that reads your book). It's been a long time, and MANY books, since I've read into the wee hours of the morning-just one more chapter.... I'm sure that isn't proper english, but I'll leave the grammar to you. I enjoyed INTELLIGENT writing, which can't be said of many best selling books on the market today, in my opinion. Loved picking out the local places I know and love. Great characters and edge of the seat action (trite but true). Can't wait for your next book. We have enough local color and "characters" to fill a tome.
